Pope John Paul II

In the Divine Image: An In-Depth Look at Theology of the Body

Friday October 28, 7 pm-9 pm and Sat. October 29, 9 am-5 pm, 2011

If you thought Theology of the Body was just about sexual intimacy here’s your chance to discover there’s more! Through this workshop, you will learn how to:

  • Explain to others the background and meaning of Theology of the Body.
  • Describe why Theology of the Body is intensely significant for people in all states of life.
  • Explain how Theology of the Body applies to parenting, religious education, the workplace, the single life, youth ministry, priesthood, RCIA, and marriage prep.

Instead of just hearing about Theology of the Body, you will “walk through” all five sections to encounter John Paul II's reflections on original sin, redemption, heaven, celibacy, marriage, and Humanae Vitae.

Who should attend? Whether you’re single or married, in ministry or just wanting to learn more, you can benefit from this spiritually rewarding, intellectually enriching, and catechetically practical day. You can also receive 8 hours of continuing education credit.

This workshop fulfills the requirement for the advanced training on presenting theology of the body in parishes and classrooms to be held in Spring 2012.

For more info, call 602-354-2179 or visit www.tobcenter.org.
Must register by October 24, 2011.
